This is what I see out my back window. It's a lousy photo but you can see Si and the Snoqualmie river. Aren't I lucky?

That's the kind of view I'd wake up early on a Sunday morning and just lounge with a wonderful mug of my favorite tea...or a decafe latte and just breath in.

I love that area and it holds very special memories for me as it's where I trained for Rainier. I love North Bend.

I lived in Yakima for 2 years and each and every friday night I would set down my mic and hop in my car..and drive to Seattle..to spend the entire weekend at my best friend's house.

North Bend was the first OUTPOST of civilization...I'd always call him as I drove through and we'd order take out/pizza/whatever...and by the time I arrived in the U-district it was ready.

Now when ever I see Mt. Si... I get a hankerin for "New China Express"
